Jr Civitan and Windsor: Gift for Giving!

Windsor’s Junior Civitan Club collected 4,425 cans of food for Macon Outreach. Jessica Nicole Shepherd’s 1st Grade class won an Ice Cream Party for collecting the most cans at 600. Thanks for supporting Macon Outreach!


Raiders Slip Past Knights 68-66; Lady Knights Fall

GISA ‘AAA’ Southland Raiders slipped past the Windsor Academy Knights (7-2) by the score of  68-66. Antonio McKinney and Dylan Bass led all Windsor players with 14 and 13 points respectively. The Lady Knights (3-6) lost 55-43 to the Lady Raiders with Madison O’Neal scoring 13 points and Kaley Sadler scoring 12 points. Season resumes on Tuesday, Jan 6.


WINDSOR GISA ‘AA’ ALL-REGION/ALL-STATE SELECTIONS: FOOTBALL and SOFTBALL

Five Windsor Knights have been named to the 2014 GISA 4-AA All-Region Football Team.  Congratulations to the following students: Josh Brooks, Tavis Malakius, Jonathan Osborn, Marquise Jackson, and Austin Thomas. Austin also participated in the 2014 GISA All-Star game at Mercer University.

Four 2014 GISA ‘AA’ State Champion Windsor Lady Knights have been named to the 2014 GISA AA All-State Fast-pitch Softball Team.  Congratulations to the following students: Taylor Osborn, Hannah Griffin, Kaley Sadler, and Miranda Busbee. Kinsley Gilliam and Megan Wall participated in the 2014 GISA All-Star game at Mercer University. Six Lady Knights were selected to the All-Region 4AA team: Skye McKinney, Kassidy Hulett, Taylor Osborn, Hannah Griffin, Kaley Sadler, and Miranda Busbee.

Windsor’s Tyler Brown was the All-Star and All-State Coach of the Year.

 


COACHES vs CANCER TOURNEY: KNIGHTS SWEEP DEA and PINEWOOD

Scott Albert led Windsor (6-1) with 18 points in a 66-53 GISA win over David Emanuel Academy at the 12th annual Coaches vs Cancer Tourney at Robert Toombs Christian Academy. Michael Daniels added 11 points. The Knights also beat the GISA ‘AAA’ Pinewood Christian Patriots by the score of 66-54 The Lady Knights (3-4) lost to Trinity Christian 60-46. Madison O’Neal, Kassidy Hulett, and Kaley Sadler led all Lady Knights with 9 points each. The Lady Knights later beat Robert Toombs by the score of 41-32 in the tourney.
