Junior Marquise Jackson ran for 100 yards and two touchdowns and caught five passes for 84 yards and three scores in a last minute 48-42 loss to Piedmont. Jonathan Osborn passed for 170 yards (11 for 23). Marquise received another Sunday Morning Quarterback game ball recognition by The Telegraph. Windsor is now 3-2.



CMA Nomination: Jason Aldean, Old Boots, New Dirt

-Jason Williams Aldean (Class of 1995) received a 2015 Best Album nomination for Old Boots, New Dirt by the Country Music Association (CMA). Other nominees include Kacey Musgraves, Pageant Material; Little Big Town, Pain Killer; Kenny Chesney, The Big Revival and Chris Stapleton, Traveller. The 2015 CMA Awards will take place Nov. 4 in Nashville. The 8PM ET broadcast will air live on ABC. Congrats to Jason!

Lady Knights: GISA Region 4AA Fast-pitch Softball Champions!

The Windsor Lady Knights (13-6, 3-1) wrapped up the 2015 GISA Region 4-AA Fast-pitch Softball Crown with a 7-1 win over the Lady Eagles of Brentwood School. Windsor had 15 hits as Osborn went 3-for-5, while McKinney went 4-for-4 with four RBI. Phillips was the winning pitcher.

Windsor will get a 1st Seeding in the GISA AA State Softball Playoffs on Sat Oct 10th vs the winner of Region 1 #2 vs Region 3 #3. Best 2-of-3 series in each round. Congrats to Head Coach Leighann Newberry, Assistant Craig O’Quinn, and the Lady Knights!
