The #2 Windsor Lady Knights lost to #3 St George’s Episcopal School 38-27 and the #2 Windsor Knights lost 69-68 in overtime to the #3 Flint River Wildcats in the 1st round of the 2018 GISA ‘AA’ State Basketball Playoffs. Thanks to all of our Seniors for a great season!
To get to the state playoffs, the #2 Windsor Lady Knights lost to last year’s GISA AA State Champion #1 Brentwood by the score of 52-45 in the 2018 GISA Region 4AA Basketball Championship at Windsor. The defending GISA AA State Champion and #2 Windsor Knights lost to #1 Briarwood 66-48. It was Briarwood’s first boy’s region championship win in 19 years. Windsor had won the last three region championships.
To get to the region finals, the #2 Windsor Lady Knights beat the #3 Briarwood Lady Bucs by the score of 41-34. The #2 Windsor Knights completed the sweep with a 54-40 win over the #3 Piedmont Cougars!

Congratulations to the Windsor Wrestling Knights team on a strong showing at the GISA State Tournament this past weekend. Brent James finished as State Runner up; Jonathan Embro and Koby Bagley finished 3rd; and Broc James Finished 5th. Kevin Bandt, Jadon Tidwell, and Brayden Pollard also participated in the meet.

Windsor Distinguished Graduate Nancy Grace (Class of 1977) joins the A&E Network for a new show entitled “Grace vs. Abrams,” from Lincoln Square Productions. The show will feature Nancy Grace and Dan Abrams debating infamous crimes and legal cases. The series will be filmed at Times Square Studios in front of a live audience and is set to premiere on March 29 at 10 PM ET. Congrats to Nancy! See below:

The Windsor Knights (0-10, 0-3) lost to the Unity Rams 24-21 with less than 3 minutes in the final game of the 2017 GISA ‘AA’ football season. It was Windsor’s first rebuilding year and win-less season in many years. The Lady Knights (14-7, 5-1) lost in the GISA ‘AA’ Final Four to the Piedmont Lady Cougars by the scores of 6-4 and 8-7. Windsor had won the last three GISA ‘AA’ State Softball titles.
