Windsor Academy
Striving to be the very best!
Greetings from the Headmaster
The administration, Board of Directors, faculty, and staff would like
to extend to you a warm and friendly welcome to the Windsor Academy
web site. Here at Windsor, we like to consider ourselves one happy
family. The school is relatively small and very family oriented. At
Windsor Academy, academics are the number one priority and it is evident
in its challenging and college preparatory curriculum. Students are
given the opportunity to participate and be competitive in extracurricular
activities. The school has an array of sports teams. We are proud
to announce that the Windsor wrestling team was the 2008 GISA Region
Champions and GISA State Champions and had an unprecedented six wrestlers
win individual state championships in their weight class. The Windsor
2007 baseball team was the 2007 GISA AA State Champs. The Windsor
Academy 2007 football team made it to the state championship game
and finished as the GISA AA State Runner-up. The girls' softball team
was 2007 Region Champions and made it to the final 4 in the state
tournament. Windsor's boys' track team was 2008 Region Champions.
I am pleased to announce that we have added two new staff members.
Ms. Patrice Fitzgerald, who has a Master of Elementary degree, will
be teaching the first grade and Ashley S. Long, a graduate of Georgia
Southwestern University, will be teaching Algebra II, Chemistry,
and Pre-Calculus.
Our family at Windsor Academy is looking forward to an outstanding
2008-2009 school year academically and athletically. We hope you
will enjoy examining our new web site and will decide to join our
family. If you should have any questions or would like to schedule
a campus visit, please do not hesitate to call the school.
Sincerely,
John C. Cranford
Headmaster
